LEI KALIKIMAKA
Here's a Lei Kalikimaka (Christmas Wreath) that I made for our 5th Annual Halau Pa'ina Kalikimaka on Sunday, December 9th at Kow's Restraunt.
Would you believe this was the first time I made something like this?
"Kulana 'Elua" or 2nd Place was awarded to this wreath made our of liko lehua in red, maroon, silver as well as green. Pukeawe was added to accent it's natural beauty.
THIRD PLACE -:"Kulana 'Ekolu" went to Jadelyn and Pearl Park with a wreath made of red, yellow, and green cellophane.
FIRST PLACE: "Kulana 'Lanakila" went to Jaiden Butler with a wreath also made of Liko Lehua that was picked and gathered from around her house.
CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL OTHER WREATH ENTRIES. They were all beautiful.
Coming soon.......Winners of the Christmas Costume & Christmas Ornament Contest.
A hui hou and malama pono for now!
