This is me for those of who don't know what I look like (pupuka).......My name is Emery Li'ili'iokalani Aceret. I'm the Kumu Hula (hula teacher) of Halau Na Pua 'O Uluhaimalama. Born and raised in Hilo, Hawai'i. My Kumu Hula is (and will always be) Rae Kahiki Fonseca of Halau Hula 'O Kahikilaulani for over 20 years. His Kumu Hula is Uncle George Na'ope (the spifee guy in the red shown above). Both of them have taught me what hula truly is.....a way of life!
